Job Description:

RxCap is seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Business Development / Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with specific experience selling tech products to healthcare providers and, ideally, pharmacies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building relationships, closing deals in the healthcare sector, and is comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment. This will initially be an individual contributor role, with the aim of building out a team as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities with healthcare providers and pharmacies.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

Sales Execution:

  • Present and demonstrate RxCap's innovative medication adherence solutions to prospective customers.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with RxCap’s strategic partners on business development efforts.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of health tech sales experience, preferably with some experience selling B2B2C products.
  • Experience selling to pharmacies is highly desirable. Medicare experience is an additional plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the healthcare sector.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree in a healthcare field (e.g., MPH, MHA, PharmD, MSN, MD, etc.) preferred but not required
